INTERACTIONS

For a few days in January of this year I decided to write down my interactions with Ian Judd. The following is what I wrote down during that time.

January 29th, 2008

My interaction with Ian was brief today. I stayed home from work because I was sick and I gave Sarah a call to ask her if she wanted to get together after she was done with work. Sarah didn't answer initially but called me back, in that time my plans had changed and I decided to go to a concert. She asked if I wanted to have dinner with her and Ian before hand and I said that I would love to.
We went to pizza. Once there I said hello to both of them and ordered my food. I noticed that Ian ordered two slices of some crazy looking pizza without tomato sauce and a bunch of other ingredients. He said it tasted "hella good". I told Sarah about buying my plane ticket to San Francisco and she seemed worried about having enough time to see her best friend Emily while we would be there, I assured her that all would go smoothly. I went to the bathroom and when I returned Sarah asked me if I would like to go see her friend Jeff's band instead of my regular plans and Ian said "Oh yeah, don't go see two of you're favorite bands." I said that he made a good point and I told Sarah that I was going to stick to my original plans, but would love to hang out with her until I had to go. While leaving the pizza place Ian gave both Sarah and I very big hugs and went to school. I went to Sarah's. While I was at the concert Ian called to ask how much it was and I told him that it was 15 dollars and he said that he would come to the show, I said "awesome". Ian never showed up.

January 30th, 2008

Today I saw Ian at work briefly. I was in the common play area at work and he walked in with a plate of food. I asked him if he was on lunch and he said "yeah". Then he asked me how the Liars concert was and I said it was great and then he told me about why he couldn't make it. Our other friend Casey just got a job at the Stranger and I talked to his boss about going along with him (Casey) to an upcoming Marilyn Manson concert. I told Ian and he said that Casey had already promised him the extra ticket. I got upset. After work Ian, Sarah and I went to Anna Purna and got Indian food. Ian said that I could go to the concert because he wasn't that big of a fan of Marilyn Manson. Neither am I.

January 31st, 2008

Today Ian called in sick to work so I didn't get a chance to see him that much. After work I called him and asked him if he was okay and he said that he was fine but he had some errands to run and asked if it was cool if he came over to my place and then got a ride back home. I said that was fine since I had plans with his roommate.

This is all true.

SICK DAYS

I've been sick these last few days. Which essentially means that I've been inside the house by myself with either my laptop, Planet Earth (the DVD's) or books to keep me company. As soon as I get better I'm going to smoke a million cigarettes.

Very Short Stories

Short Story I:

So, awhile ago there lived this man, and he was very industrious and understood what it took to earn a dollar. The man was perhaps unscrupulous in a way. After a short period of time the man had made a good life for himself, he had a big house and a few nice cars and he even owned a good boat. What the man didn't have was power, he wasn't in a position to make the big moves. He had good looks and could be with whomever he chose -- nothing lacked in his life except his ability to control his surroundings. He often felt helpless.

Short Story II:

Sometimes we would stand in my kitchen trying to decide how to get our lives together. You would say things like "It's only been two weeks since I last got money from my folks, I can't ask again so soon."
I agreed. It just seemed so strange because it felt like we made all the right decisions. We went to college, we got good jobs but we just didn't know how to grow up I guess.
Other times we would just sit on the roof of my apartment complex and have tequila shots and chain smoke. We talked for hours and thought life was amazing. We felt great.

Short Story III:

What did you think of that movie?
"I like it."
"It was okay."
"I don't like it very much."
"I love it."
"I hate it."

Short Story IV:

April, 10th 2008.

Today I woke up and felt terrible. I called work and told them I was unable to come in. I went to Bauhaus with my roommate and got coffee. Then I went to the doctors office and found out I was anemic. Afterwards I went to the Honeyhole and ate lunch. Currently I am at the Vera Project with Casey and Dale. They're mad.

SCENARIO I

How would you re-act if the following happened to you:

You wake up one morning and everything is as usual. You go about your normal routine which eventually leads you to the bathroom to do what needs to be done. You lift the toilet lid and resting in the toilet is one of the biggest turds you've ever seen. Your roommates/parents are away on vacation and have been gone for the past few days and you have been home alone with no one over for the last few days, and no one has an extra set of keys to your apartment/house. The previous night you were completely sober and you know without a shadow of a doubt you did not shit this monster turd. What do you do?

LOTS

Would anyone be interested in starting a penpalship? I think it would be really fun to send art and stories back and forth with someone and maybe compile all the material into a zine of some sort. If anyone is interested please feel free to send me a postcard or letter. My address is:
310 12th AVE E. #108
Seattle, WA 98102

I also recently found out that I am anemic, anyone have any sort of suggestions about how to get more iron in my system? It would be a great help. Thanks.
